Delete my account

Delete your Skillyte account.

This page is for the Skillyte app, operated by [Legal entity name]. You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data linked to it, even if the app is no longer installed on your phone.

Deleting your account is permanent.

Your profile, progress and results cannot be recovered afterwards. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete your account or your data.

Option 1: Delete inside the app

This is the fastest way if you can still open Skillyte.

Open the Skillyte app and sign in.

Go to [Profile > Settings].

Tap [Delete account].

Confirm [with the verification code we send you].

Option 2: Request deletion here

Use this if you cannot open the app or have uninstalled it. If the account belongs to a learner under 18, a parent or guardian should make this request.

Before we delete anything, we will send a verification code to your registered mobile number or email to confirm the request is yours.

You can also email [support email] from your registered address with the subject "Delete my Skillyte account".

What happens next

We check it is you

We verify your request within [number] days using your registered mobile number or email.

We delete your data

We delete your account and personal data within [30] days, and remove it from backups within [90] days.

We confirm

We tell you when it is done, using the contact details you gave us in your request.

What we delete

  • Your name, mobile number, email address, language and age details
  • Your learning progress, quiz results and [certificates]
  • Your parent or guardian's details, if you are under 18
  • Your push notification token and device identifiers
  • Messages you sent to our support team, [after the retention period in the Privacy Policy]

What we may keep, and for how long

  • A record that your account was deleted, and your deletion request: [period]
  • Security and fraud-prevention logs: [period]
  • Anything the law requires us to keep: [describe, if any]
  • Summary statistics that cannot be linked back to you

Want to remove only some data?

You do not have to close your account. Write to [privacy contact email] and tell us which information you would like removed or corrected.
